Golden Dog Farm , Butternut Goldens and Vermont Dog Trainer Ian Grant have come together to create a one-of-a-kind dog training retreat that blends expert guidance, hands-on learning, and the natural beauty of Vermont. Through this collaboration, participants will engage in hands-on training with their own dogs (or learn through observation), farm experiences such as beekeeping, maple syrup making, and the vineyard.
During this immersive 3-day workshop, participants will experience a unique blend of hands-on dog training, expert coaching, and the serene beauty of Golden Dog Farm. Whether bringing your own dog for personalized guidance or attending as an observer to deepen your understanding, attendees will gain valuable training insights in a relaxed, real-world setting.
Each day includes structured training sessions, engaging farm activities, and opportunities to learn from Ian and his 18+ years of dog training experience. In addition to training, participants will enjoy the one-of-a-kind Golden Retriever Experience, where they can play, relax, and connect with a joyful “happy” of Goldens from Butternut Goldens.
The workshop also includes exclusive Golden Dog Farm experiences, such as beekeeping and honey tasting, exploring the vineyard, and learning about maple syrup making. A delicious lunch is provided daily, allowing time to unwind and take in the scenic surroundings.
There are limited spots available with three different levels of training available.

Silver Level: 8 spots available. You'll attend with your dog and participate in group training sessions with the other dogs attending. You'll also be able to observe and learn from the 1:1 training as well. You and your dog will be able to enjoy together all that Golden Dog Farm has to offer.
Bronze Level: 7 spots available. These spots are for those who want to attend without their dog. These attendees will be able to observe the training without the distraction of managing your own dog so you can focus on observing and absorbing more training knowledge.
