On select Saturday's this holiday season you'll be able to join us to sing Christmas Carols with the Butternut Goldens.
Golden Dog Farm and the Butternut Golden Retrievers bring a whole new meaning to “Happy” Holidays! Surround yourself with a “happy” of Goldens from Butternut Goldens and Golden Dog Farm. Much like a gaggle of geese or a rhumba of snakes, a “happy” is the collective noun for a group of Golden Retrievers!
After a "Happy Hour" of playtime with the Butternut Goldens, we'll move into the cozy environs of the 1770's-era Ira Allen Barn for singing of your favorite Christmas Carols (and maybe a few dog howls).
Play ball, sing Christmas Carols, snap photos, and cuddle with Goldens on your way to having the best afternoon of your life! Refreshments provided (refreshments include hot beverages, and of course, Candy Canes!).
Pricing: $132.50/person includes Vermont State Sales Tax ($125 + $7.50 = $132.50). PLEASE REGISTER with both your phone number and email.
**IMPORTANT DETAILS TO UNDERSTAND BEFORE BOOKING**
- You are purchasing a ticket to a specific event. Like any ticketed event (ie., theater, concert, sporting event), bookings are non-refundable. Once you book it, there are no refunds and no rescheduling. You may transfer your booking to friends or family, but you need to let us know who will be attending in your place so that they can be checked in for the event.
- The Candy Canes, Carols and Cuddles is a group event with limited attendance - not a private appointment.
- No outside dogs are allowed to attend this experience.
Time: Event occurs on select Saturdays in December at 2:00pm and will run approximately 2 hours. Please note that Golden Dog Farm is a working farm and a private home. Kindly arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the event.
Booking: The Booking Calendar is at the bottom of this section. Click on "Select a Time" to check available dates and to complete your booking. If, when you select a time, it says "No Time Slots Available," that means we are sold out. If we are sold out, be sure and add your name to the waitlist.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! I literally had the BEST day ever, with all the goldens. The whole vibe there was amazing. The owners, so kind, warm and welcoming.As much as I loved the candy canes and cuddles in the snow and cold, I am so looking forward to come back in the spring or summer to play again. What an amazing time and worth every penny.
Absolutely amazing experience. So fun and wholesome. The owners and workers are so kind and were so sweet with my five year old. The dogs were as sweet as they were cute!!! Drove four hours and will be doing it again!

The Candy Cane, Carols, and Cuddles event at Golden Dog Farm LLC was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie with snowy fields, cozy farm charm, joyful carols, and the sweetest golden retrievers you could imagine.
The dogs were incredibly gentle, affectionate, and clearly so well cared for. Sitting among them, cuddling the pups, sipping hot cocoa, and singing Christmas carols created an atmosphere that was both festive and peaceful. It really was something truly special in the busy holiday season.
The hosts were warm, welcoming, and intentional about every detail. You could feel the love they have for the dogs and for creating meaningful experiences for guests. This wasn’t just an event ...it was a memory we’ll carry with us for years.
