Join us on August 15th for a truly unique and special dinner experience.

Chef Jeff Miller (from Michelin Star restaurant Bar Miller in NYC) and Master Sommelier David Keck join forces to host an intimate omakase-style dinner in the enchanting glass corn crib at Golden Dog Farm. While this is the first-ever dinner in this magical venue, we're confident it will leave a lasting impression. 

Chef Miller will be foraging from Golden Dog Farm as well as local vegetable farms to bring together the ingredients for an intimate 12-course meal served in an exquisitely transformed corn crib originally built in 1770 by Anthony Nichols, a Quaker cabinet maker and homesteader in Danby, Vermont. The focus of this meal will be thoughtfully sourced seafood, local ingredients, and both local and international beverages paired by David.

You'll be greeted with a glass of bubbly to enjoy while strolling through the Golden Dog Farm vineyard. You'll next make your way to a one-of-a-kind Slovenia-style beehouse for a delectable amuse bouche featuring Golden Dog Farm Honey and a short overview of beekeeping from Becca and Doug Worple, owners of Golden Dog Farm. And finally you'll wind your way through two of our orchards where you'll be able to taste seasonal fruit at the peak of freshness.

This short meander through the farm will end at the glass corn crib where the evening's magical meal will take place.

About Your Hosts

Chef Miller is the owner of Rosella and Bar Miller in New York City. A Grass Valley, California native, he began his sushi career at Dragonfly in Gainesville, Florida. He spent five years working for the prestigious Uchi Restaurant Group in Texas before moving to NYC in 2017. Rosella, and its omakase sister restaurant Bar Miller, incorporate local seafood and produce into semi-traditional sushi. Rosella opened in October 2020, and Bar Miller in October 2023. In December, 2024, barely a year after opening, Bar Miller was awarded a Michelin star.

David Keck grew up in Vermont, left for school, a career as an opera singer in New York and around the world, then a career as a sommelier in Texas. He achieved his Master Sommelier diploma in 2016, making him the 149th American Master Sommelier and 233rd in the world. He worked in Texas as beverage director, owner and operator, and finally founding partner of a hospitality group. He and his wife Lauren returned to the Northeast in 2020 and began farming grapes. He is now Director of Hospitality for Golden Dog Farm, and farms grapes and makes wine for Golden Dog Farm and Stella14 Wines, the brand he and Lauren started in 2020.  

David and Jeff met in Houston when both were working for the Uchi Restaurant Group— Jeff as sushi chef and David as beverage director. They have remained in contact ever since and this is finally an opportunity to get together and create a meal.

Like any ticketed event (ie., theater, concert, sporting event), bookings are non-refundable. Once you book it, there are no refunds and no rescheduling. You may transfer your booking to friends or family, but you need to let us know who will be attending in your place so that they can be checked in for the event.
